Saurabh Pandhi takes over as CEO of Tridonic

With effect from 14 September 2026, Saurabh Pandhi has taken over the function of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tridonic. In his new function he will help shape the future direction of the company, building on Tridonic's pronounced technology and engineering competence.

Focal points will in particular be:

• intelligent lighting systems
• software
• connectivity
• energy-efficient solutions

As a globally active technology company for intelligent lighting solutions, Tridonic combines comprehensive competence in lighting technology with software, connectivity and intelligent systems. Together with the teams worldwide, Pandhi will further expand Tridonic's innovative strength, deepen collaboration with customers and promote sustainable growth.

Career background

Pandhi has more than 20 years of international leadership experience in the lighting industry. Since joining the Zumtobel Group in 2021, he was responsible for the global business of Thorn Lighting. In this function he shaped the strategic further development of the company in international markets and worked closely with customers, partners and teams around the world.

Before moving to the Zumtobel Group, Pandhi held various international leadership positions at Sylvania Lighting. The focus of his work was on the further development of business units, the leadership of international teams and the successful implementation of technological innovations into market- and customer-oriented solutions.

Pandhi succeeds Hugo Rohner, who led Tridonic over many years.
