Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the world leader in lighting, announces a wide range of Philips Hue innovations designed to make connected lighting more intelligent, immersive and beautifully integrated into the home.

Shaped by customer feedback, the latest software, entertainment, design and wider product innovations give consumers new ways to personalise their homes. These include advanced automations created through natural-language instructions, new ways to synchronise lighting with television content, compatibility with Nanoleaf Shapes, and a collection of luminaires designed for contemporary interiors.

Smarter software, designed around people
The Hue portfolio continues to evolve with software innovations that make connected lighting more intuitive, more personalised and easier to manage.

Exclusive to the Hue Bridge Pro, Custom AI Behaviors will allow users to create sophisticated and highly personalised lighting automations simply by describing what they want in everyday language. The Hue AI assistant translates each request into a tailored behavior by combining triggers, conditions and lighting actions, enabling automations that were not previously possible within the Hue app.

Users could, for example, ask their switches and sensors to behave differently at weekends, automatically activate a scene when it gets dark - regardless of the time - or set a particular scene when their entertainment setup starts synchronising. This makes advanced lighting automation accessible without requiring users to configure every element manually.

Hue is also previewing Back-up & Restore, a feature developed in response to longstanding customer demand. Users of both Hue Bridge and Bridge Pro will be able to back up their settings to the Hue cloud, preserving light, accessories, rooms, zones, scenes, automations and more. Restoring a saved setup will initially be available to Bridge Pro users.

A forthcoming Sonos integration will introduce new ways to control home audio using selected Philips Hue switches, including the Tap Dial Switch. Users will be able to assign Sonos Favorites to buttons, play or pause audio, adjust the volume, and move to the next or previous song in a playlist—all without opening an app.

Philips Hue and Nanoleaf bring connected lighting together
The partnership with Nanoleaf will bring compatible Nanoleaf Shapes (Hexagons, Triangles and Mini Triangles) into the Philips Hue ecosystem through the Philips Hue Wall Light Module.

Consumers will be able to include compatible Nanoleaf light panels in Hue scenes, automations and entertainment experiences, creating more cohesive lighting across a room.

More ways to bring entertainment to life
Philips Hue is expanding its entertainment portfolio to bring synchronised lighting experiences to more users, televisions, and TV setups.

The new Philips Hue Play Screen Sync is a plug-and-play solution that synchronises compatible Philips Hue lights with the content displayed on a television. Using a fisheye lens and automatic calibration, Screen Sync captures the full display in real time and extends its colors into the room through dynamic lighting. Because Screen Sync responds directly to what appears on the television, it can synchronise lighting with native smart-TV apps, broadcast television and HDMI-connected devices, regardless of the content source.

For viewers with HDMI-based setups, the new Philips Hue Play HDMI sync box 4K brings the established Philips Hue sync box experience to simpler configurations. Its slim design and single HDMI connection provide an accessible way to synchronise Philips Hue lights with 4K entertainment content.

Users will also be able to synchronise one Philips Hue Play gradient TV strip light with the Philips Hue Play HDMI sync box 4K or Philips Hue Play Screen Sync via Bluetooth, without requiring a Hue Bridge. This provides a simple way to start experiencing synchronised lighting with a television. By adding a Hue Bridge or Bridge Pro, users can expand their setup to create a surround-lighting experience with up to 10 lights.

A new generation of Philips Hue Play gradient strip lights gives consumers greater flexibility when creating an entertainment setup.

The Philips Hue Play gradient strip light and Philips Hue Play gradient strip light pro are cuttable for a better fit across different television sizes and installations. For the first time, the range will also include a version designed for televisions up to 100 inches.

Design-led lighting for contemporary interiors
The decorative lighting portfolio is expanding with products that combine intelligent control, premium materials and distinctive design across indoor and outdoor spaces.

The new Philips Hue Liane 360° rope light uses advanced optics to produce continuous illumination around the full circumference of the light. Its flexible form can wrap around walls, furniture and architectural features, allowing it to create anything from subtle ambience to a bold visual statement. Philips Hue OmniGlow technology delivers an even, diffused gradient that turns the light into part of the interior.

The award-winning Philips Hue Signe collection is growing with the new Signe pendant, Signe pendulum and Signe pole. Inspired by architectural lighting, the sculptural luminaires combine ultra-slim profiles, premium materials, and diffused gradient light. They are designed to integrate naturally into contemporary interiors while helping define the spaces around them.

Extending the portfolio outdoors, Festavia introduces curtains, net and icicle lights for creating atmospheric displays throughout the year. Philips Hue is also launching a new range of accessible outdoor wall lights and spots, giving more consumers the opportunity to bring personalised, high-quality smart lighting to their outdoor spaces at a more approachable price point.
