XLamp® CMB/CMU/CHA COB Pro9™ LEDs – New CCT/CRI Options

Shared across the three COB LED families, the Pro9 options include new 2400K at 90 and 95 CRI minimum and 2200K at 90 CRI minimum. Pro9 LEDs deliver up to 15% higher efficacy for 90 and 95 CRI versions compared to standard versions while maintaining strong color rendering quality, a 105°C maximum operating temperature rating and the same maximum current, mechanical and electrical characteristics as corresponding standard products. For lighting manufacturers, this makes it easier to expand warm, high-CRI portfolios with minimal redesign effort across compatible COB platforms.

XLamp® CHA Pro9 LEDs combine high lumen density and efficacy in LES sizes as small as 3.3 mm. With 50% higher lumen density than XLamp CMU LEDs, CHA enables narrower beam angles, higher intensity and compatibility with the ecosystem of holders and optics designed for high-intensity COBs. Available LES sizes include 3.3, 4.2, 6.0 and 8.5 mm.

XLamp® CMB Pro9 LEDs provide a performance upgrade path for existing Cree LED CXA, CXB and CMA COB designs while retaining mechanical and optical compatibility. Available LES sizes include 6.0, 9.0, 12, 14, 19 and 23 mm, with additional Fidelity and Specialty color point options. 

XLamp® CMU Pro9 LEDs deliver high performance in widely used package and LES sizes while retaining mechanical and optical compatibility with Cree LED CMT COB LEDs. Available LES sizes include 9.8, 14.5 and 22 mm.

Together, these expanded Pro9 COB LED options give manufacturers more flexibility to deliver warm, efficient, high-quality light across a broader range of premium applications.
