OSRAM Opto Semiconductors opens a light shop on the Internet: ordering LEDs is as easy as clicking a mouse
OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ new Internet Light Shop offers LEDs of all shapes and sizes.
The shop will be open on November 14, 2006 in time for the Electronica fair. At www.osram-os.com/lightshop even small quantities of any of the wide range of products can be purchased. The Light Shop is intended for potential customers such as developers, architects, lighting planners, universities and private individuals who only want small quantities of these semiconductor products.
Simply click on the “Buy here” button for the product you want and you will be taken to the website of our sales partner. This is RS Components for Europe and Asia, and Digi-Key in the NAFTA region. These two distributors have geared themselves up to handle small quantities of the OSRAM products.
Visitors to the fair can obtain information on the new Light Shop either at the OSRAM stand (A4.107) or at the stands of our sales partners (RS Components A6.257, Digi-Key A5.276). Virtually the entire range of products from the specialist semiconductor producer will be available: LED families, infra-red components, high-power laser products for the end consumer market, OLED displays and a wide range of LED displays for indoor and outdoor applications.
