Ready to click: the fixing of LED boards with the SMD P2F element offers advantages in many aspects. On the one hand, this method avoids costly manufacturing processes with screws, minimizing at the same time the stocking expenses. The high-strength and at the same time elastic springs of the SMD P2F ensure a positive click-on connection resistant to vibration and shocks. Last, but not least, the low installation height above the board prevents unwanted shadow formation. This way, P2F convinces with many useful features and functionalities.
A solution to simplify the installation of LED boards into luminaire housings
The SMD P2F fixing element of BJB streamlines and simplifies the installation of LED boards and reduces the interference potential on the lighting quality. Supported are total thicknesses from 1.5 to 2.6 mm, calculated each for board and housing sheet. The components are supplied fully assembled as Tape-and-Reel. A corresponding Footprint as well as a cutout of 4.5 mm/± must be planned on the board for the automatic SMD mounting. The housing sheet needs a cutout of ø3.0 mm each.
