WAC GROUP Appoints John Jiang to Executive Director of APAC Product Marketing

Starting with technical support, lighting design, and field application engineering, Mr. Jiang has had a clearly defined, growing career path across sales representative, regional sales manager, national specification director, and eventually general manager of China, for both Zumtobel and Thorn. He has extensive experience in sales and marketing management, comprehensive product knowledge in architectural-grade lighting, an international vision, and most importantly-- excellent team leadership.

According to Thomas Wang, WAC Group’s Head of Global Development, “Light and Building 2026 in Germany was just the introduction; we know having product alignment with a specifier’s design intent is where the rubber meets the road and where the artistry truly happens. We look forward to seeing how John’s wealth of abilities and skillset can help show our customers that WAC Group and WAC Architectural are ready for the world stage.”

Mr. Jiang’s role with the WAC Group will be highly connected to growth initiatives for the WAC Architectural specification-oriented brand. He will also serve as the bridge to international marketing support for Schonbek, its world-renowned crystal lighting brand, to ensure complete alignment with WAC’s Global branding and messaging. He will also oversee marketing teams in China and Thailand, as well as the APAC technical support team for the WAC Group.

Mr. Jiang offers a strong pedigree, graduating from Fudan University with a degree in Lighting Design, an MBA from Manchester University in the United Kingdom, and a 20-year career with Zumtobel Group.
