LightingEurope Announces New Executive Board Members and Treasurer

LightingEurope is excited to announce the election of three new members to its Executive Board following the elections by the General Assembly on 19 June 2026.

LightingEurope Announces New Executive Board Members and Treasurer

Olivier Gabriel, Neil McLean and Peter Thorns have been elected to the Board, reinforcing LightingEurope’s leadership with their extensive experience and commitment to the European lighting industry. They succeed Mark Oliver Schreiter, Miguel Aguado and Klaus Vamberszky, whose mandates have come to an end after many years of dedicated service on the Board.

In addition, Flavio Bertoli (Ledvance) has been appointed Treasurer of LightingEurope, succeeding Miguel Aguado (Lutron), who held the position for several years.

“We are delighted to welcome Olivier Gabriel, Neil McLean and Peter Thorns to the Executive Board and to congratulate Flavio Bertoli on his appointment as Treasurer,” said Elena Scaroni, Secretary General of LightingEurope. “Their expertise, leadership and commitment will be invaluable as we continue our mission of fostering a competitive, innovative and sustainable European lighting industry. At the same time, I would like to sincerely thank Mark Oliver Schreiter, Miguel Aguado and Klaus Vamberszky for their years of dedicated service to LightingEurope.”
