Lantronix Inc. (NASDAQ: LTRX) announced the expansion of its NDAA-compliant NTC family of industrial IoT cellular routers with the NTC-201 Series, a single, globally certified cellular router designed to eliminate the cost and complexity of deploying connected assets across borders. The company said the NTC-201 Series is intended to remove the need for region-locked SKUs, simplifying inventory, certification and deployments for industrial IoT customers and channel partners.

Lantronix described the challenge of region-locked cellular hardware, which can require separate SKUs per market, leading to parallel inventories, separate certification cycles, higher costs, deployment delays, more complicated support, and higher total cost of ownership. The NTC-201 Series is presented as a single, globally certified router that standardizes deployment across every region and reduces the burden of managing regional variants.

The NTC-201 Series is built on what Lantronix described as a secure, diversified supply chain free of geopolitical sourcing risk. It uses LTE Cat 1bis connectivity. The routers are managed through Lantronix’s Percepxion cloud platform, which the company said enables secure provisioning, monitoring and updating of device fleets worldwide, including pushing EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)-mandated security patches. Lantronix stated the platform supports zero-touch provisioning and enterprise-grade protocols such as VPN, SNMP, TR-069 and LwM2M.

Lantronix listed the following attributes for the NTC-201 Series:
