The DALI Lighting Awards aim to highlight and celebrate excellence in lighting projects that utilize DALI technologies, including DALI-2, D4i, DALI+, and DALI gateways. The program recognizes design innovation, system performance, sustainability, interoperability, and creativity across multiple application areas and technical fields.
Award Categories
Entries may be recognized in one or more of the following categories:
Application Categories
- Residential
- Commercial Interior
- Commercial Exterior
- Industrial
- Smart Cities & Infrastructure
Innovation Categories
- Best Use of D4i
- Best Emergency Lighting Integration
- Best Human-Centric Design
- Best Integration into Other Building Systems
- Innovation in Lighting
- Sustainability & Energy Efficiency
- Smart & Connected Lighting
- Best use of DALI+ or DALI Gateways
Participants do not need to select categories when submitting; the jury will allocate entries appropriately across all categories.
Eligibility and Requirements
Participation is free and open worldwide, regardless of DALI Alliance membership.
Eligible projects must:
- Be completed or substantially completed between January 2023 and November 2025
- Demonstrate significant use of DALI technologies
- Provide sufficient visual and technical documentation (e.g., photographs, descriptions, design objectives, key DALI products used)
Submissions may be entered by any member of the project team, including designers, manufacturers, integrators, building owners, or architects.
